Crazy About You: Where Miami Dining Meets the Bay

A worldly dining experience overlooking the Miami skyline.

In Brickell, where Miami’s skyline meets Biscayne Bay, Crazy About You has built its identity around making the setting part of the meal. Located along Brickell Bay Drive, the restaurant combines waterfront dining with a warm, lounge-inspired interior, giving guests a choice between taking in the bay from the terrace or settling into a more intimate atmosphere indoors. The result is a restaurant that feels designed as much for lingering as it does for eating.

The menu takes a similarly open-ended approach. Rather than being tied to a single culinary tradition, Crazy About You brings together influences from Spain, Italy, and American comfort food, with dishes that range from small plates to steaks, seafood, pasta, and more casual favorites. Burrata Caprese Toast, Smoked Mahi Mahi Dip, Serrano Ham Croquettes, and Tuna Tartar appear alongside Black Truffle Linguine, Porcini Mushroom Tortellini with Shrimp, Miso Glazed Salmon, and Wagyu Churrasco. The variety gives the menu an intentionally eclectic character, allowing a table to move between familiar comforts and more globally influenced dishes.

That variety becomes especially interesting when the dishes start crossing culinary boundaries. The Wagyu Churrasco, for example, brings together steak, chimichurri, and shoestring fries, while the Branzino is finished with cilantro aioli and served with potatoes au gratin. Even the smaller plates reflect the restaurant’s willingness to move between traditions, from plantain chips with smoked mahi mahi dip to tuna paired with avocado, mango, cucumber, and spicy soy. Nothing requires the diner to commit to one particular cuisine for the evening.

“Dinner becomes less about following a particular culinary script and more about enjoying the moment, the company, and the city beyond the table.”

Drinks and atmosphere are just as central to the experience. Crazy About You offers a full cocktail program alongside lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, and happy hour, with the lounge and waterfront terrace providing two distinct ways to spend an evening. Cocktails such as the Lovers Lane Lemonade and Frozen Sangria fit naturally into a setting where the transition from dinner to drinks can happen without ever leaving the table.

That emphasis on the overall experience appears to be resonating with diners. Tripadvisor currently lists Crazy About You at 4.1 stars from more than 800 reviews and recognizes the restaurant with a 2025 Travelers’ Choice award. Recent reviews frequently mention the waterfront setting, atmosphere, food, drinks, and service, particularly for celebrations and date nights. There are also less favorable experiences, including comments about noise during busy periods, reminding guests that the lively atmosphere can sometimes be part of the tradeoff.

What makes Crazy About You particularly suited to Miami is its understanding that waterfront dining is about more than the view. The restaurant brings together an eclectic menu, cocktails, music, hospitality, and a setting that encourages guests to take their time. It is not trying to define itself through one signature cuisine or a single dish. Instead, its identity comes from the complete experience.

In a city filled with restaurants competing for attention, Crazy About You offers something simpler: a reason to stay awhile. As the sun drops over the bay and the dining room settles into the evening, dinner becomes less about following a particular culinary script and more about enjoying the moment, the company, and the city beyond the table.
